![]() I assume they basically abandoned the game and moved on. What the hell happened? The game came out on 2008, and since then all they did was add 3 cars to the game, and some character customization avatar. The gameplay itself is good, arguably slightly more realistic, but definitely good fun. It just seems like they took out a lot of good content from Special Stage. The latest issue of Famitsu has a first look at Initial D Extreme Stage, a PS3 version of the Japanese racer thats known in arcades as Initial D Arcade Stage 4. A couple of cars are also missing from Special Stage. That is a lot less compared to Special Stage. ![]() This is nice, but again, I don't really think it's that necessary. You can create your own character and customize how he/she looks. I would much rather if they left it 2D, with less load time. ![]() While that is a nice touch, it just increased the load time a whole lot. You can't reenact the awesome-ness in the Anime/Manga. ![]() Compared to Initial D Special Stage on the PS2, Extreme Stage is extremely. It was developed by Sega Rosso and published by Sega. The game itself is pretty solid, but I felt like they added a bunch of content that is completely unnecessary, and in return a lot of good contents were taken out. Initial D Special Stage is a driving game that was initially launched in Japan in the year 2003. Not much to say here about it without spoiling the plotline, but the game follows the storyline of both the manga and the anime with painful accuracy. I finally finished the arcade mode on Initial D Extreme Stage. Maybe then countersteer sliding wont be so darn hard to pull off in some of the tight courses. ![]()
